The 2026 New Year Dance will be held in the Ardrossan Civic Centre, Ardrossan on Friday, 9th January, 2026.
Margaret's Big Birthday
At the Branch Class on 17th September, 2025, participants celebrated the 90th birthday of Branch President, Margaret Ballantine, by singing Happy Birthday, enjoying a celebration cake and by dancing a new dance devised in Margaret’s honour by Elizabeth Howie, assisted by members of the Kirkgate Dance Class in Saltcoats. The tune for the dance was specially written by Branch Vice-Chair, Shona MacFadyen.

North Ayrshire Branch of RSCDS aims to promote Scottish Country Dancing and its music within the North Ayrshire area.
If you haven’t tried Scottish Country Dancing, or if you haven’t danced for a while, come and join us. It is one of the best ways to combine fitness, fun and friendship. You will be made very welcome.
